HEALTHBURST JOURNAL

What to look for on a supplement label.

The label is your starting point for understanding a product. Match the exact product name with the name printed on the bottle.

1. Product name and type

Check the full name, suffixes such as Plus, and the product format. Similar names can refer to different formulas.

2. The ingredients table

Read each ingredient together with its unit and stated amount. A product image does not replace the original ingredients table.

3. Packaging details

Check the tablet count, expiry date and manufacturer information on the original packaging. Read the product leaflet for complete information and directions.
